Local Non-Profit: TRIPLE F FOUNDATION - Awards 18 Tomball Students with Scholarships

Tomball, TX – Board members of Triple F Foundation, a local non-profit organization, are proud to announce they have awarded 18 scholarships to Tomball area FFA students. The non-profit was formed in early 2025 with the goal of helping young students pay for their FFA show animals.

“Showing animals in FFA is a great way to introduce students to the business of agriculture and animal production – but it’s also a big expense that not all families can afford,” said Andy Meredith, President of Triple F Foundation. “We are really excited to offer financial support for local students, as the benefits of showing FFA livestock goes beyond just raising animals. It’s a great way for students to become leaders in agriculture and business, and also within their communities.”

With the success of recent fundraisers, Triple F Foundation was able to award nearly $15,000 in scholarships, those funds going towards FFA student dues, FFA jackets for new members and the cost of purchasing and housing their livestock, including swine, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, etc. “Our goal for next year is to award 25 scholarships,” says Meredith. “In order to do that, we are looking for local businesses to sponsor our program. We are also looking for community support at our next fundraiser: Triple F’s Brisket Cook-Off on Dec 6th.”
