Triple F Foundation was established with the sole purpose of providing funding to local FFA students to help ease the financial burden of purchasing FFA show animals. Founded by current and former FFA parents and students, Triple F’s mission is to assist FFA students who are interested in raising animals for Tomball ISD’s FFA program who may not have the financial resources to buy an animal, or pay associated animal housing and FFA program costs.
FFA students in Tomball ISD’s FFA program can raise a variety of animals such as steers, pigs, lambs, goats, rabbits, chickens, and turkeys. The foundation acknowledges the financial barriers that many students face when aspiring to participate in animal husbandry. The costs associated with purchasing and caring for livestock can be exorbitant, often deterring interested students from engaging in this enriching experience.
Following the completion of Triple F’s application and meeting certain established criteria, students can become eligible to receive scholarships to assist financially, allowing recipients to experience the benefits and rewards of raising an FFA animal and competing at the annual Tomball ISD FFA Livestock Show.
Triple F Foundation is a registered 501(c)3.
